Telepromptia Privacy Policy

Summary
Telepromptia does not collect your data. It has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. Your scripts and recordings stay on your device.
What stays on your device
- Scripts you write, paste or import.
- Recordings, takes, captions and exports that you create.
- Settings and presets, such as text size and speed.
We have no copy of any of this and no way to read it. Deleting the app, or using "Delete all data" in Settings, removes it from the device.
Permissions
- Camera and microphone: to record your video and voice. Requested only when you open the recording studio.
- Speech recognition: to follow your voice while you read and to create captions. Telepromptia turns this on only when Apple reports that recognition can run on your device for the chosen language. It never falls back to server-based recognition. If a language cannot be recognised on the device, voice following stays off and you can use timed or manual scrolling.
- Photo library (add only): to save a finished video when you choose "Save to Photos". Telepromptia does not read your photo library.
- Face detection: camera guidance and EyeLock feedback analyse the live camera image on the device. Nothing is stored or sent, and no face data is kept.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. We do not see who bought what; Apple provides aggregated sales and subscription reports.
Contacting us
If you write to support@telepromptia.com, we receive your email address and your message, and we use them only to answer you. Please do not send recordings or scripts you want to keep private.
Website
telepromptia.com is a static website. It has no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical request logs (such as IP address and time) for security and operation.
Children
Telepromptia collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about your use of the app, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete beyond your own correspondence with us. If you live in the EEA, the UK or another region with similar laws, you can ask us about, correct or delete that correspondence by writing to support@telepromptia.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes, and material changes are noted in the release notes.
